Basic Electrical Safety Training
Overview
The National Electrical Code (NEC) updates every three years with information on new equipment, new tools, and new work practices. The NEC is the electrical design standard for most electrical applications. It is essential for electricians, supervision, inspectors, and designers to keep up to date on the requirements of the NEC. The NEC code update 2020 class covers changes to the code format, changes in the layout, new articles, changed articles, additions, deletions, and combined requirements. Most electrical licensing bodies require electrical license holders to take a “Code Update” class every three years when the standard changes.
